Residential - In accordance with the Virginia Department of Health (VDH) Water Works Regulation 12VAC5-590-600(E) that states that all backflow assemblies must be tested at a minimum annually, and upon request Backflow Services, Inc will come out during normal business hours and test your assembly to determine if it passes the minimum operating standards and if so will complete the proper report and submit that report to the water authority for you. You the customer will receive a copy of the report along with your invoice which you can pay directly from the email. If the backflow preventer does not pass or is not in compliance with current code you will be notified and we will give you an estimate for the repairs or if needed a replacement. Replacement of an assembly is usually the result of freeze damage which may not be visible but has warped the body to the point where the seals will not hold proper pressure differential.

There may be additional charges regarding irrigation system not in service, no access to backflow preventer, etc. Please leave in the comment section if you have any questions regarding our services as this is a request for service and you may be scheduled for service upon submission of the backflow test request form.
